Jag heter Maria Almgren och arbetar som fotograf i Värmland, med uppdrag genom Valborgsgården AB som jag driver tillsammans med min man Christopher. Min styrka ligger i det dokumentära: att fånga det som faktiskt sker, när det sker. Jag vill berätta genom bilder, inte regissera.
Oavsett om det handlar om scenkonst, ett event, företagets vardag eller personliga porträtt, strävar jag efter att skapa fotografier som känns levande, ärliga och estetiskt hållbara över tid. Jag vill att bilderna ska kunna användas både som minnen och som material att bygga vidare på.
